Hot Cross Buns

Hot Cross Buns

Last year we had a mini easter egg hunt in our living room, and we will probably do something quite similar again this year. It is hard not to be sad that we can't have an easter egg hunt with our friends, and enjoy an Easter feast after church on Easter Sunday. But we can still celebrate! If you are looking for some delicious hot cross buns, here is my freshly updated map, with 19 places in London to try this yummy Easter treat.Gail’s Bakery- So delicious, and you can also try their HCB pudding. Hot cross buns soaked with vanilla custard, smoked bacon and maple syrup.Panzer’s Deli- it might be hard to decide between hcb’s and eagles, best to get both!Bread Ahead- so yummy and fluffy with the nicest glaze.La Fromagerie- grab some hub’s while stocking up on your easter cheese.Ottolenghi- Basically eating a delicious bun of yumminess.Fortnum & Mason- Out there flavours, but I loved the goat cheese and fig HCB.⁣Daylesford Farm- Have it toasted with butter for the ultimate treat. ⁣Crosstown Doughnuts- A HCB doughnut!Miel Bakery- Citrus and spice and everything nice.Melrose and Morgan- A lovely HCB.Bread by Bike- Packed with fruit.Fortitude Bakehouse- This year they are doing Not Cross Buns, a spiced easter bun.Big Jo Bakery- Yum. Just yum.EK Bakery- A hot cross biscuit to enjoy with your tea.The Dusty Knuckle- Perfectly spiced and delicious. ⁣Lyle’s- Order a HCB kit to make them at home.St. John- A real classic.Flor Bakery- Should probably buy a half dozen.Little Bread Pedlar- Get one if you can! ⁣I'd love to know, how you are planning on celebrating Easter? Will you be baking?
